Fishing

Stingray WaterSports offers a full service fishing operation with all Tackle and bait provided. Soft drinks are also provided free of charge.
Our boat is a newton 42ft dive/fishing boat with a massive 450sq foot of deck space fitted with twin 350 bhp caterpiller diesel engines. We have a marine toilet on board and a barbeque for lunchtime stops. The fly bridge has seating for 8 so guests can enjoy the hunt for that trophy fish. The boat is fitted with top of the range Raymarine electronics for easy fish hunting.

Weather permitting for deep sea fishing the boat will leave the dock at 6.30am and trolls to the 12 mile banks. The session will be spent there before the boat returns to dock by either 12.30pm (half day) or 6.30pm (full day). There are many other spots for fishing round the island. These include north west point, the local winter wahoo hotspot or east end for dolphin and tuna. Marlin appears on all our fishing areas in season. Dolphin or Mahimahi which is the most common deep water sport fish can be found year round off Cayman. Wahoo though rare in the summer months can be found from October onwards and stay until April/May. Tuna and marlin can be caught year round. Popular reef fish in Cayman include the snapper, grouper and ocean triggerfish.

All fishing gear is provided by Stingray WaterSports and is of a high standard.

We provide cool boxes for the catch or any drinks you may wish to bring.

Prices are based on a maximum of 8 people fishing. Extras carried at a pro rata surcharge (please note the maximum number of people is 12). Any special dietary requirements need to be advised in advance for barbeques or sandwiches. For all day trips the lunchtime barbeque may be substituted with sandwiches if weather is inclement.
